Ryan Williams

Australian winger Ryan Williams has rejoined League One side Barnsley on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Fulham.

The 21-year-old, who made six appearances for the Tykes on loan last season, also has the option of a third year on his contract at Oakwell.

He played three times for Fulham after his arrival from Portsmouth in 2012.

"I have admired Ryan Williams for a long time," Barnsley manager Lee Johnson told the club website.

"Ryan Williams signing brings to the conclusion one of the irons in the fire that we currently have when it comes to recruitment for next season."

Dame N'Doye for Hull City on February 10, 2015

Hull City striker Dame N'Doye has agreed a three-year deal with Besiktas, according to reports.

Recent speculation had linked Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Norwich City with the Senegalese veteran, who signed for the now-relegated Tigers in February this year.

However, the Hull Daily Mail claims that N'Doye has agreed a move to the Turkish giants for a fee of £2m.

N'Doye played 15 times for Hull, scoring five goals during his sojourn at the KC Stadium.

There were plenty of Birmingham City fans at the Pirelli Stadium for the pre-season friendly yesterday

Birmingham City may have disappointingly lost at Burton yesterday as Gary Rowett returned to his former club, but that didn't stop more than 2,000 travelling fans making plenty of noise.

Two second half strikes from the Brewers were enough to register Blues' first pre-season defeat.

Yet as usual there were Bluenoses in abundance in attendance!

Here we have some terrific photos taken by our photographer Iain Findlay.

Can you spot yourself or anyone you know that made the trip?

Manchester City Whizz-Kid in Bolton's Sights

Reports on Sunday suggest Bolton are lining up a loan move for Manchester City winger Brandon Barker.

Barker joined City from Droylsden Juniors at the age of 11 and has progressed through the academy ranks at the Etihad Stadium, turning professional in July 2014.

The 18-year-old has yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Manuel Pellegrini's side, but impressed after coming off the bench in a pre-season friendly against Roma last week.

A recent target for Aston Villa, Barker earned his first professional deal with City after being voted Academy Player of the Year for 2013/14, following a season in which he netted 13 goals in 32 appearances - a run of form that saw him rewarded with a first call-up to the England under-18 squad.

Barker is currently in Vietnam, as City prepare for their latest summer friendly, and he is expected to travel to Germany for a game against VfB Stuttgart this week, before returning to the North West ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Barker is rated as one of City's hottest prospects and his current deal is due to run until June 2016, meaning the club are likely to open talks over an extended stay at the Etihad prior to granting him a temporary move.

Reading Ownership Approval Rating - July 2015 Results

Nearly a year into the Thai regime, you're pretty happy with the job they're doing at Reading Football Club.

For the last six months we've been asking you to rate Steve Clarke's performance as Reading manager - now, we thought we'd extend that to the Thai ownership at the club.

And almost a year into the project, you've given them a 3.76/5 rating, or around 75%. The club has been stagnant for the past year and many of the big contracts from the previous era are gone from the balance sheet. But the owners have shown they're willing to spend money, with both Nigel Adkins and Steve Clarke recruiting in numbers once given the "green light". And the plans behind the scenes are coming along well, though it'll take more than words and blueprints to fully placate the fans after the empty promises of Anton Zingarevich.

Thanks for all your votes - the results of the poll are below. We'll be running this in mid-September to see how things have changed after the transfer window...
